SSRE antidepressant drugs form a particular class of medications used to treat depression and anxiety in adults. Though these SSRE antidepressant drugs are not yet available in the United States or Canada, early studies have shown very promising results about the effectiveness of these medications.

For one thing, experiments in mammals show that SSRE antidepressant drugs take effect more quickly than other commonly prescribed drugs, such as Paxil or Prozac. Moreover, there seems to be a decreased incidence in sexual side effects, which is one of the most common problems associated with depression and anxiety medications.As more research and clinical trials are conducted, doctors and patients will have more information on how SSRE antidepressant drugs can treat anxiety and depression.
